Our Carrollton location is conveniently located just off Trinity Mills and the Tollway in between Midway Rd and Marsh Lane. We are 12 miles from Downtown Dallas and minutes away from North Park Mall.
Man’s Best Friend Carrollton provides a safe, friendly, clean and fun environment for your furry family member, and offer we offer a number of amenities to make their stay more comfortable. Our location is fully climate-controlled to ensure each pet is comfortable and safe regardless of the outside conditions. The facility is sanitized throughout the day using pet-friendly (and approved) medical grade cleaners.
The Carrollton location features oversized boarding rooms, two large outdoor yards with plenty of space to run and play, and a brand new indoor training and daycare center so your best friend can get the exercise and socialization they need - guaranteeing a good night’s sleep no matter the weather!
Guests are welcome to bring their own food, or they can chow down on our premium FROMM dog food. We have a store packed with premium food, treats and toys for last minute gift idea, and are always looking to go the extra mile by providing that additional walk or individual playtime.

Meet Our Manager
Jamie Marsh, General Manager
Jamie collectively has 12 years with Man’s Best Friend. After 10 years and before his departure in 2009, he was Regional Manager for 8 Man’s Best Friend locations. During that time, he participated in and managed dog training, daycare, sales, marketing, customer service, and staff training. His dog training expertise includes obedience, protection, and AOC. He had a weekly appearance on a popular radio show and numerous television appearances to promote the importance of training and overall pet care.
Jamie holds the following certifications:
- CPCT – Certified Pet Care Technician
- ACPCT – Advanced Certified Pet Care Technician
- CKO – Certified Kennel Operator
- AKC CGC Evaluator
- The Red Cross Pet First Aid
Jamie is also a member of the following:
- APDT – The Association of Professional Dog Trainers
- IACP – International Association of Canine Professionals
- IBPSA – International Boarding and Pet Services Association
Jamie returned to Man’s Best Friend under Destination Pet in 2018. With the addition of red carpet drop off for daycare and modern artwork displayed in the lobby of loyal clients, Jamie and his dedicated staff proudly won the Marley Award in 2020. Jamie is a University of North Texas alumni. He along with his wife, and two children have 5 canine family members and "Chomper" the turtle.
We have two Dog Boarding packages: Standard Boarding, and Playcation.
Standard boarding includes:
- Pallet bedding;
- Up to 3 meals a day;
- 2 relief walks;
- Bedtime treat
Playcation boarding includes:
- 4 or more hours of supervised play;
- Raised bedding;
- Up to 3 meals a day;
- 2 relief walks;
- Bedtime treat
Dog Boarding Add-Ons (Additional Costs May Vary)
- Bed Rental: Hammock style bedding which is washed daily; helps with housebreaking
- Assorted natural treats: Pig ears, porky rolls, and many more easily digestible treats for a fun in-kennel snack
- Biscuit Treats: Several Iams biscuits given twice daily
- Additional walks: Get more outdoor time for your pup!
- Puppy playtime: Recess for dogs! Each outdoor, one-on-one 15 minute play session is a great way to break up the day
- Puppy care & teething: Includes a large Kong filled with peanut butter, natural treats, and ice cubes in your dog’s water. Also includes 15 minutes of personal one on one play.
